Perbandingan Serapan Energi Cahaya Matahari Menggunakan Solar Statis dan Solar Tracker Single Axis

Abstract

Penelitian ini membandingkan serapan energi matahari antara sistem Solar Statis (SS) dan Solar Tracker Single Axis (STSA) di Kota Padang. Teknologi IoT digunakan dalam sistem ini untuk pemantauan data secara online dan real-time. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem STSA, yang mengikuti pergerakan matahari dari timur ke barat, menghasilkan daya yang lebih besar dan stabil dibandingkan dengan sistem SS yang statis. Pada kondisi cuaca cerah dan berawan, sistem STSA mampu menghasilkan tegangan dan arus yang lebih tinggi. Data pengujian hari pertama menunjukkan bahwa sistem STSA menghasilkan energi listrik sebesar 45,618 Wh dengan persentase 5,243 % sedangkan sistem SS menghasilkan energi listrik sebesar 9,885 Wh dengan persentase 1,136 %. Pada hari kedua, energi listrik yang dihasilkan oleh sistem STSA adalah 49,269 Wh dengan persentase 5,663 %, sementara sistem SS menghasilkan energi listrik sebesar 11,628 Wh dengan persentase 1,337 %. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi energi surya melalui penerapan teknologi pelacak matahari.
