Penggunaan Algoritma BLOCPLAN dalam Perbaikan Tata Letak Fasilitas untuk Mengoptimalkan Aliran Kerja Produksi
Abstract
Perancangan tata letak fasilitas berperan penting dalam meningkatkan efisiensi produksi dan aliran material. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang ulang tata letak fasilitas produksi PT. XYZ menggunakan algoritma BLOCPLAN guna mengurangi jarak perpindahan material. Permasalahan utama adalah tata letak produksi yang tidak teratur, menyebabkan perpindahan material yang panjang dan menurunkan efisiensi. Metode penelitian meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan software BLOCPLAN 90 untuk membandingkan tata letak awal dengan dua usulan layout. Hasilnya, layout awal memiliki perpindahan material 600 meter/tahun, sedangkan usulan 1 menurun menjadi 367,2 meter/tahun, dan usulan 2 meningkat menjadi 624 meter/tahun. Layout usulan 1 dipilih karena lebih efisien. Implementasi perlu memastikan kelancaran proses serta mempertimbangkan penyimpanan sementara untuk barang belum kering.
