Rancang Bangun Warehouse Management System Menggunakan Metode Agile

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan Warehouse Management System (WMS) di gudang PT CAKRA. WMS adalah sistem yang dirancang untuk menangkap semua informasi yang diperlukan dalam aktivitas operasional pergudangan. Namun, ditemukan permasalahan terkait selisih catatan jumlah stok barang masuk dan keluar dengan jumlah fisik yang ada di gudang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif serta menerapkan metode Agile untuk fleksibilitas dan adaptasi dalam proses penelitian. Sumber data yang digunakan meliputi data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan WMS di gudang PT CAKRA belum berjalan efektif, yang dibuktikan dengan data wawancara dan masih ditemukannya beberapa kendala. Penggunaan metode Agile memungkinkan penyesuaian berkelanjutan dan peningkatan proses selama penelitian berlangsung, yang berpotensi memperbaiki penerapan WMS di masa depan.
